This notice explains how Aahar by Dr. Akanksha Pandey, operated by Dr. Akanksha Pandey and her team, handles personal information submitted through this website for online nutrition enquiries and consultation requests.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a consultation, we may collect your name, phone number, optional email address, age group, general area of concern, preferred contact method and time, and any short message you choose to provide.
Please do not submit medical reports, prescriptions, test results, identification documents, payment information, or detailed medical histories through the website forms.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your request, contact you about a possible consultation, understand the general nature of your enquiry, manage follow-up, keep the website secure, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Submitting a form does not create a doctor-patient relationship, confirm an appointment, or replace medical care.
Consent and your choices
We process information submitted through these forms with your consent and for the specific purpose described at the time of collection. You may withdraw your consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed and may mean we can no longer respond to or manage your request.
Children and young people
A consultation request for anyone under 18 should be submitted by their parent or legal guardian. The website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.
Who can access the information
Access is restricted to Dr. Akanksha Pandey and authorised members of her team who need it to respond to requests or maintain the website. We do not sell personal information or use appointment-request information for unrelated advertising.
The website uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for database storage, authentication, hosting-related infrastructure and abuse protection through Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA Enterprise. These providers process technical and service data under their applicable terms and privacy safeguards.
Storage and retention
The primary Firestore database is configured in Mumbai, India. Service providers may process limited information in other locations as part of operating their infrastructure.
Website enquiries and appointment requests are retained only while needed to respond and manage follow-up, and ordinarily for no longer than 12 months after the last interaction. Information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or meet a legal requirement. Records created after a consultation begins are outside the scope of this V1 website notice and should be handled under the practice’s separate professional record-keeping process.
How we protect it
We use HTTPS, restricted Firestore security rules, Firebase Authentication, App Check, role-based administrator access and input validation. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we limit collection and access to reduce risk.
Your rights and grievances
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or erasure where applicable, withdraw consent, or raise a concern about how your information is handled. We may need reasonable information to verify that the request relates to you.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, services, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published here with its updated date.
